Cox Bail Bonds is one of Texas’ oldest, and longest standing bonding companies. Our owner, Michael W. Cox, started working for his uncle in 1983, and established his company in 1990. For over three decades we have been Houston’s top tier choice for all bonding needs, and in 2021 we expanded into Montgomery County with our second location in The Woodlands. The company manager is Mr. Cox’s nephew, Chris Casto, who has been a part of the team since 2013. Ms. Evelyn "Bo" Campbell handles all of our accounting and financial investments. We are proud to be family owned and operated. We strive to bring the best, most efficient service when bonding a loved one out of jail.
Mr. Cox has been a full member of the Professional Bondsman of Texas organization since 1995, and from 2005-2009 he served as a Parliamentarian on the Harris County Bail Bond Association. In 2008 Mr. Cox won a victorious battle for the bail bond industry in the “Cox vs. State of Texas” case where he amended the law in which the county stops calculating interest on a forfeited bail bond after the defendant gets rearrested. In 2019 we were nominated by Expertise.com as one of Houston’s Top 16 Bail Bonds. And in 2022 Mr. Cox was elected to the board of directors for the Professional Bondsmen of Harris County Association.
It’s a good feeling dealing with a company of our credentials and reputation. At Cox Bail Bonds we pride ourselves for being a truly honest company with integrity and ethics. Thank you Houston and surrounding areas for your continued support.
